UNIVERSITY PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATES Bijan Amirshahi, M.A., M.F.T.I. is a Marriage and Family Therapist registered intern (IMF # 42908) with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the state of California since March of 2003. Mr. Amirshahi has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Marina del Rey, California. As an M.F.T. Intern Mr. Amirshahi works under the supervision of Dr. Michael Gonzales (PSY # 7993). Mr. Amirshahi worked through the required clinical training and several months of internship at Antioch University Counseling Center. His previous background includes 27 years of experience in management, 15 years of which was devoted to management and consulting in multi-location healthcare delivery facilities in California. In addition to his private practice at University Psychological Associates, he is currently working as a clinician at a non-for-profit organization that provides mental health services to the less advantaged population of south Orange County.
