Cynthia Pekoff

Cynthia Peikoff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with many years of practical experience in psychotherapy and now in coaching. Educated in psychology at Columbia University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, she has helped individuals, families and groups of people in all walks of life. In order to enhance her know-how and counseling skills, she continues her studies at this time in new effective psychological techniques. Her many years of experience include professional work at Chapman University, the El Toro Marine Base, Leisure World, hospitals in Southern California and New York City, as well as a private practice. Her specialties have included personal therapy for unhappy people who are having difficulty with life transitions, such as divorce, career change or problems in personal relationships. Her goal at this time in her private practice is to help individuals deal with the ebb and flow of life — by teaching techniques that can continue to be used long after psychotherapy sessions are done.
